Arcieri appassionati che, attraverso questa attività ludica, si ritrovano in un ambiente naturale, fra amici, in una competizione piacevole che li porta a riscoprire l’istinto cacciatore mai sopito dentro di noi, indirizzandone agli scopi di cui sopra, l’energia che ne scaturisce.

Ma allora sono tutti potenziali cacciatori o ex cacciatori coloro che ingrossano le file di questa attività?

Assolutamente no!

Anche se rispettiamo le scelte dei veri ed onesti cacciatori, ci teniamo a precisare che questo genere di attività è da ritenersi tutt’altro che istigatrice alla caccia, al contrario assopisce l’istinto naturale che alberga nei geni che ci portiamo dietro da millenni, sfogandolo in una simulazione che fa assaporare le mille sensazioni che ne scaturiscono senza arrecare danno alcuno se non alle numerose frecce rotte o perse.

Un bel gioco dunque, tutto da provare assieme agli istruttori qualificati FIARC che ogni mercoledi sera nella palestra di Montegiardino (RSM) accolgono i numerosi nuovi amici con serate di allenamento e colletività.

Infatti, questa è una attività speciale per persone speciali, senza fretta, senza particolari aspettative agonistiche o stress da risultato, quando si tende l’arco per la prima volta, si inizia un cammino senza meta.

Ad ogni passo, ognuno troverà il suo punto d’arrivo, gli istruttori vigileranno sulla sicurezza e sui principi fondamentali del tirare con l’arco.

La carta d’identità del gruppo Questo gruppo, nato nel 1995, pratica, oltre a rievocazioni storiche, anche un’intensa attività sportiva nel campo del tiro istintivo con il codice FIARC 21 FSTA in base al nuovo accordo stipulato fra FSTA e FIARC nel 2001, la, FSTA organizza annualmente gare a livello di Campionato Italiano FIARC valide per il Campionato Emilia Romagna.

I Lunghi Archi di San Marino, sono conosciuti anche per la frizzante attività svolta in ambito storico e culturale.

Annoverano fra le loro file , tamburini, combattenti , dame, cavalieri e figuranti , balletti e musici creando un corteo storico completo e numeroso che si è esibito in numerose piazze italiane e sammarinesi.

Dall’anno 2005, la Compagnia Sammarinese “la Cerna dei Lunghi Archi di San Marino” è entrata a far parte della Lega Arcieri Medioevali (LAM), assieme ad altre città del centro Italia.

L’attività storica , aggiungendosi ai vari gruppi esistenti della Federazione Balestrieri (Sbandieratori, Musici, Balestrieri) e contando il recente gruppo Arti e Mestieri di Montegiardino, completa in modo straordinario, l’offerta di gruppi storici Sammarinesi.

Who are these Lunghi Archi of San Marino, who with the support of thousands of people around the world, go in a wood, shooting arrows, discovering and dominating the deepest instincts of free men surrounded by Nature?

Passionate archers who, through this sport, meet one another in a natural free space, as friends, in a pleasant competition which brings them to rediscover the hunting’s instinct never disappeared in ourselves, transforming this instinct in useful energy.

So who practice this sport are all potential hunters or ex-hunters?

Absolutely not, even if we respect the ideas of the real hunters, we want to explain that this sport has not the purpose to push people to hunt. On the contrary it makes drowsy our natural instinct, giving vent to it in a hunting’s simulation, which make us feel particular sensations without damaging no one, but the broken arrows.

So it is a pleasant sport, which we advise to try together with the qualified FIARC trainers, who ,each Wednesday evening in the gym of Montegiardino(RSM), entertain the several new friends with evenings of training and fun.

Precisely this is a particular activity for unique people, without hurry, without particular competitive expectations or stress for matches . When you stretch the bow for the first time, you know you begin a new path.

Each progress will be important and the trainers will guide you assuring the security and the basic principles of the archery.

The Lunghi Archi company, born in 1995, practices both medieval shows and an intense sportive activity with the code FIARC 21 FSTA in accordance with FIARC since 2001. FSTA every year organizes matches for the Italian FIARC’s Championship valid for the Emilia Romagna’s Championship.

Lunghi Archi of San Marino, are known also for their great activity in historical and cultural field.

They are composed also by drummers, ladies-in-waiting, fighters, knights matched by musician and ballets, creating an historical complete and numerous procession, who has appeared both in several Italian’s squares and in the San Marino’s historical centre.

Since 2005, the company “La Cerna dei Lunghi Archi di San Marino” has entered the League of Medieval Archers (LAM), as some Italian cities did.

The historical activity, with other companies of the “Crossbowmen’s Federation”(Flag-wavers, Musicians, Corssbowmen) and the new Arts and Crafts of Montegiardino(RSM), fullfill in an extraordinary way, the presence of historical companies in San Marino.
